Pioneer’s range of professional controllers designed for Serato DJ has a new addition, with the launch of the entry level DDJ-SB. Even more compact and portable than the premium DDJ-SX and DDJ-SR controllers, the DDJ-SB offers the same intuitive access to all the bundled Serato DJ Intro’s cues, loops, FX and samples.

New for the DDJ-SB is the industry’s first Filter Fade, which helps aspiring DJs create seamless mixes by adding a high pass filter to the crossfader – enabling smoother transitions with just one control. The DDJ-SB also offers plug-and-play control of Serato DJ Intro (free) and Serato DJ (paid upgrade). The controller provides access to a host of cues, loops, FX and samples and incorporates eight multi-function Performance Pads.

The DDJ-SB is USB powered, MIDI compatible and includes a built-in sound card. Manual high/low pass filters are provided on each channel and the controller features Pioneer’s industry-leading pro-DJ design and build.

Bundled with Serato DJ Intro, the DDJ-SB will be available in December 2013, just in time for Christmas, at an SRP of £199 including VAT.
